Because DeAndre’ kept a dirty room in college, Delesa would sneak the key to his room to clean up. Who would have ever known that one act of kindness would lead to a permanent job for a lifetime?

DeAndre’ and Delesa Hutchison first met in 2006 at the University of North Texas. It didn’t take long for them to form a friendship while working in the dormitory on campus. Over a period of time, the two eventually entered a dating relationship that would last most of their college careers. At the mark of their senior year, they decided to part ways to allow each other to grow and assess their next steps for life after college.
After spending some years apart, the couple reunited after the sudden loss of Delesa’s father. Once reconnected, they picked up where they left off and committed to a long-distance relationship. Every weekend and holiday the couple would take turns commuting from Houston to Dallas and vice versa. Within just six months into their newly re-established relationship, DeAndre’ proposed to Delesa in the very place they met and asked for her hand in marriage.
On September 1, 2013, the couple joined together before God, family, and friends to exchange personalized vows and tied the knot. Although young in marriage, they are very strong in their Christian beliefs and values. They believe that God should be the center and the glue that holds the marriage together. After a year into their marriage, the couple became parents to a daughter who not only bring them great joy, but strengthens their love for each other, as well.
As a couple, they felt the need to push for more positive images of marriage and promote the benefits of two individuals joining together as one in love to accomplish their God-ordained purpose in life. They created the podcast to help other couples find solutions to similar situations and act as an instrument in building strong, healthy marriages for generations to come.
